If you've decided to go to Maui on your vacation, you'll want to prepare yourself for some excitement and you won't want to forget your snorkel. Immersing yourself in the warm waters, you'll find yourself astonished by the bright colored coral and the beautifully colored fish in a variety of shapes and sizes. Before you do jump in the waters in Maui, it is important to get acquainted with the water conditions first. Many snorkel and dive shops will provide you with a tour to allow you to do this before you set out on a excursion with your partner. The fact is if you are not used to the large waves in Maui, it will make things much more challenging for you. The large waves will also decrease your visibility as it causes the water to be murky. The prices for the groups vary from company to company, however, you should be able to enjoy a day in the water for as little as $90 per person and this price will probably depend upon how many are in the group. Groups of fewer people are generally charged a higher rate. To be safe, make sure you bring your sunscreen and leave any valuables you may have behind at your hotel.
